Thalassaemia International Federation is a non-profit non-governmental organisation based in Cyprus, established in 1986 with the mission to support the establishment and promotion of control programmes, including prevention, and clinical management of individuals with thalassaemia across the world. Its membership comprises over 60 national thalassaemia associations from 48 countries of the world.
TIF’s educational programme constitutes one of its most important activities in achieving its goals and includes, amongst others, the publication, translation and distribution of educational material – leaflets, books, the quarterly TIF Magazine and the TIF website.
