The conference programme will give participants an overview of all aspects of the nature, diagnosis, clinical management and prevention of thalassaemia and sickle cell anaemia, including discussion of the most important current scientific topics. Haemoglobin disorders are placed in the context of European public health policies on rare diseases.
Speakers include representatives of European NGOs, WHO, European Commission, a number of patients and internationally recognised high-level scientific experts in Hb disorders.
