Join us in Bringing Together Experiences, Knowledge, Challenges and Success from around Asia

The Thalassaemia International Federation (TIF) has decided to postpone the 1st Pan-Asian Conference on Haemoglobinopathies, which was scheduled to take place on 3-5 November 2011, at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Bangkok, Thailand, and moved the organisation of this conference to 8-10 February 2012, due to the very severe climatic conditions that recently prevailed over Thailand.

With this opportunity we would like to cordially invite you, on behalf of the organising committee, to attend this 1st Pan-Asian Conference. Please click here for the relevant forms.

The aim of the conference, which falls within TIF’s strategic plan for bringing together patients/parents, medical professionals, policy-makers and other interested parties from different regions of the world and in this particular case, countries across Asia, especially the South-East Asia and Western-Pacific regions.

Exchanging methods of best practice in patient care (clinical management), sharing experiences, gathering knowledge and promoting patient empowerment constitute key objectives; the ultimate goal being to revisit the current status of control strategies in Asia and to empower and support the prioritization of haemoglobin disorders on national health agendas.

If you are interested in attending the above-mentioned conference, please complete and return to TIF Headquarters the relevant registration and travel/accommodation forms, by the new deadlines set. Any deviations from the set deadlines may not be accepted.

Please note that priority will be given to the previously registered participants.

Please note that there are a limited number of places available and therefore prompt registration is encouraged.
